Financial Freedom
What is your definition of financial freedom? How do we get there? What comes first: The money or the mind-set? Do you really need money to make money? Are you financially fit? Have you ever faced the question squarely without squirming? You receive a fat paycheck each payday, periodic bonuses, and commissions. You're living comfortably within your means. But frankly, should any financial disaster or emergency strike, will you be able to cope financially? Answering the question in the affirmative means, you can take on anything because you're financially stable. But if you're not, what should you do?
The answers to these questions are found within reach of each one of us. By following the examples of those who are where we want to be we can find a peace with the money issues that each one of us are faced with.
Our mission on this website is to provide a clear map for achieving financial freedom and success….no matter how you define it.
We will cover topics such as loans, budgeting, saving, investing, planning for retirement, and spending money wisely. Other important subjects such as insurance, mortgage refinancing, student loan consolidation and saving for education will be covered.
The first step towards financial health is organizing your finances. Finding what your net worth is, is a good place to start. Make a list of all your incoming resources and average monthly expenditures. Who do you owe money to and how much?(debt) When is it due each month, quarter, or yearly? What are your assets? (Savings, stocks, life insurance) How much is in savings, investments, etc.? What skills/education/interests do you have?
Once you know where you are, you need to determine where you want to be. Lewis Carroll in "Alice in Wonderland" puts it plainly: "Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?" said Alice. "That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat. "I don't much care where...," said Alice. "Then it doesn´t matter which way you go," said the Cat. Your definition of success and financial peace is the major player in this equation.
